1. Recess your mixer or stage box so you can leave your cables plugged in when traveling.
2. Fit "D" series chassis connectors such as XLR, Ethercon, etc.

Fantastic. Arrived quickly even coming from outside the U.S. Purchased for Behringer SD-8. Not using the hole for the purpose intended but running cables from the front of the SD-8 to the ear of the rack through them. The setback is great as it allows cables to remain plugged in with rack case lid in place. Superior to factory rack ears in every way including weight. Long term durability is the only thing I cannot speak to. Thanks!
